Here’s what typically happens in a cuddle therapy session:
Every cuddle session is unique depending on each individual and their preferences that aligns with the terms and conditions
Arrival and Introduction: I will come to your home, hotel, or aged care facility. I will bring a sheet to cover the couch and or on mattress and my own pillow).
Discussion of Boundaries: Go over boundaries, preferences, and comfort levels you have.
Consent: Ongoing consent is discussed, ensuring you’re comfortable with each part of the session.
Starting : We can start the session, by taking a few deep breaths together. I will than ask you how you would like to connect, either through platonic touch or non-touch.
As the session will be at your place. Please wear comfortable clothing, no buttons. Areas to be cuddled, a couch, bed, floor set up, with a mattress, or yoga mats, please have a clean sheet. I will bring my own pillow.
Cuddling: The session involves platonic physical touch, like hugging, holding hands, or lying close together, depending on your preferences. Non platonic touch, can include: playing a G rated game or watching a G or PGR movie, I can also listen if you like to speak about anything. However, I am unable to give advice or guidance as I am not a counsellor.
Ending the Session: When its 5-10 more minutes until the session ends, I will ask , how you would like to finish the session, which can be trying a new platonic cuddle position.
The overall goal is to create a relaxing, safe, and comforting experience focused on emotional connection through platonic touch.
